The Gatesville Country Store sells prospecting supplies or rents them per-day
The prices are not bad and there very friendly and helpful.
Sailt Creek runs behind the store and thats one of the best spots in Indiana
to look for gold. Its not big gold but its everywhere.
And Robin (the owner of the store lets you hunt there free)

The HobbyTown Hobby Shop in Indy has some prospecting gear for sell.
They have a number of pans from Garrett in kits plus Metal Detectors and books
on Treasure hunting. They also carry rock tumblers and supplies.
Its not the best place in Indiana to buy Gear but they have some and if
your around Indy and wanting pans or what ever the run on by there.
Tell them where you heard about them and maybe thay will start selling more.
Its the one on US31 in Greenwood/Indy behind Hooters. Well it is.
Bears now has gold pans and other prospecting supplies again.
They have metal and plastic pans for sell, shovels and camping supplies.
There behind the IGA store just as you get to Nashville heading west.

The Store sells Gold pans as well as Maps and books and other things.
From the net you can order Garrett kit and more
You can always get Supplies off the net and mail order.
